The start of the game was equal. The key moment of the first quarter was Zakhar Vedishchev appearence on the court. Loko guard immediately made 2 three-pointers and began the hosts run. By the end of the starting quarter, after Vedishchev drive to the basket the Krasnodar team lead was double–digit – 24:14.

In the second quarter, another Lokomotiv leader appeared. In the middle of the quarter, Jaylen Barford scored in 4 possesions in a row, Loko lead became 22 points – 42:20. By the halftime, the Volga team slightly reduced the difference, but the hosts lead still remained impressive – 50:31.
