VTB United League has received official requests from participating clubs regarding Regulations amendments. According to the Bylaws, the League has examined these requests and put the matter to a vote (conducted in a form of absentee voting).
The amendments cover the right of Russian clubs to field an “F/E” licensed player instead of injured “F” licensed player (foreign player). Clubs may do so only once in a season.

F/E Category License allows a Player of a Russian Club to participate in European club championships except for VTB United League Championship without the right to participate in the Russian national championship and other Russian competitions.
As of today, absentee voting over VTB United League Championship Regulations amendments is completed. The amendments are adopted with a majority of votes.
League President Sergey Kushchenko:
“Upon receipt of clubs’ official requests, the League conducted the Board of the League voting as provided by the Bylaws. The majority voted in favor of the amendments. Commencing tomorrow, the clubs will be able to field an “F/E” licensed player instead of “F” licensed player. I have to emphasize that the number of foreign players in team’s season or match application does not increase.”
