Thanks to the St. Petersburg All-Star Game, held at the Yubileyny Sports Palace on February 17, the League and ANASTASIA Children’s Foundation were able to raise 475,000 rubles on behalf of Vasilina Gudkova. The funds will be used to purchase a special pediatric chair and pay for treatment at the Rodnik rehab center in St. Petersburg.
ANASTASIA Children’s Foundation president Marina Shamara:
– Thank you to the VTB United League for partnering with us. All-Star Game organizers and spectators helped Vasilina come closer to achieving her dream of learning to walk. Charity and sports go hand-in-hand in the modern world. We hope to do many more good deeds together with the League.
VTB United League general director Ilona Korstin:
– We are thankful to all the fans who took part in the fundraiser. The All-Star Game is more than a sparkling show. It’s also our opportunity to address the world and make it a little better. Last year we helped a girl in Sochi together with the Walk Together foundation. Zenit forward Sergey Karasev also participated in the fundraiser, donating his entire prize from the Three-Point Contest to help cover her medical costs. This time we were able to raise the necessary funds for Vasilina Gudkova together with the ANASTASIA Children’s Foundation. Once again, I want to thank everyone who responded and participated in the fundraiser.
About the foundation:

From 2013-2017, ANASTASIA was able to help more than 200 children and 28 institutions. Around 30 million rubles have been used for charitable purposes.
