Avtodor Saratov guard Kenny Chery has won the VTB United League MVP of December.

Avtodor won all 3 games this month – against Nizhny Novgorod (100:94), Zielona Gora (81:74) and Zenit (83:74) – and topped the standings with the 8-1 W/L ratio.
Kenny Chery was Avtodor’s leader in December, averaging 15,0 points and making 3,3 rebounds, 3,7 assists, 3,0 steals with the eff. points per game.
– First, I want to thank God because without him this wouldn’t be possible, the VTB League for honoring and recognizing me with this trophy, and my teammates and coaching staff for pushing me everyday and helping me be a better player. I have been solid for the first part of the season, putting myself in position to be the best I can be to help this team wether on or off the court, I knew being a newcomer in this League was going to be a challenge and I made sure, I understood that and prepare for the high level of competition there is on a nightly basis,– Chery said
As far as the team, I’m pretty sure nobody counted us to be where we are, but we have been consistent with our effort and the work we bring everyday and it shows. We feed of each other’s energy and that helps us play the basketball we want to play and have fun doing so.
