Comment
Kalev head coach Roberts Stelmahers:
“First of all I want to say congratulations for the team, first VTB League win this season. Basketball is all about runs. You can go up 20 or down 20 really quickly. If you are a strong team you don’t let this happen but it happens in every level. You play games fast and everything can change immediately. Janari is a great player. We need his rebounding and three point shooting. We will see how Maurice adapts to the team. Today we showed some more quality. We are moving steb by step, adding players and waiting for Lewis to come back.”
Tsmoki-Minsk head coach Rostislav Vergun:
“Obviously with new lineups we didn’t do great job defensively – we let the shooters catch their rhythm and had to work hard to get back in the game and unfortunately we let them make a big run in the last quarter. Everybody is adjusting the season and this season is full of surprises, some teams play after the quarantine, some teams are in a really good rhythm. All we can do is focus on our game, unfortunately today we let the opponent control it.”
