Uralmash guard Josh Perkins told what guided him in signing a contract with the League newcomer team.
«My agent called and told me that a Russian team was interested in me. I looked up some information and found out that Uralmash are two-time SuperLeague champions and that the team went for promotion this year. I chose Uralmash and moved here because I want to be part of a team that can make some noise in the VTB League.
I watched the team in training for the first few days, and I can say that I really liked the team. It feels like the players are already playing with each other; the coach is putting on an aggressive defense. I am impressed with the level of play!
We have a great team, a wide rotation, we are getting better every day, growing and developing together. We all want to win and we’re moving in the right direction. So I think we’re going to have a good season and surprise a lot of fans».
