Jordan Theodore has won the Pro Cup – an NBA 2K20 cyberbasketball tournament, which was organised by the VTB League with participation of League’s professionals and Match TV host Nikita Zagday.
Decisive games were played on Wednesday, April the 15. In the first semi-final Jordan Theodore outplayed Zenit’s center Sergey Balashov in the overtime. The youngest player of this cup Sergey Dolinin from Lokomotiv-Kuban has become the second participant of the final, as he won the semi-final game against Astana’s guard Jeremiah Hill. In final Jordan Theodore beat Sergey Dolinin. Third place of Pro Cup was taken by Jeremiah Hill.
Pro cup is the first NBA 2K20 cyberbasketball tournament with the participation of professional basketball players in Europe. Other participants aside from semi-finaliats were guards of Nizhny Novgorod Artem Komolov and Georgy Zhbanov, Khimki’s guard Ivan Evstigneev and TV broadcaster of Match TV Nikita Zagday.
All games were broadcasted on the League’s social networks – YouTube and Vkontakte. Total amount of the Pro Cup viewers has beaten the mark of 285 thousands.
