Jordan Loyd joins Zenit

Zenit has announced the signing of Jordan Loyd (age 27, 193 cm). Agreement with the guard is designed for 2 years.

Jordan Loyd began his career in the D-League, playing the 2016/17 season at Fort Wayne, Indiana’s farm club. The American then spent a year at Hapoel of Eilat, participating in the Israeli All-Star Game. In the summer of 2018, Loyd returned to the United States and signed a contract with Toronto, where he became the NBA champion.

Immediately after winning the title with the Raptors, the guard returned to Europe and signed with Valencia. In the 2019/20 season, Loyd played 18 games in the Euroleague, averaging 11.1 points per game. He moved to Crvena Zvezda last summer and helped the Serbian team with 17.3 points in 27 minutes on the court in 29 Euroleague games.
