Javontae Hawkins has joined Samara, signing a contract for the 2023/24 season.
Hawkins started last season in France with Limoges, and in February he moved to Telekom, where he won the FIBA Champions League.
Javontae played in 21 Bundesliga games, averaging 9.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists. In 8 FIBA Champions League games, he averaged 13.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
During his career, the 29-year-old American basketball player was twice included in the all-Bundesliga second team (2020, 2022).
