Zenit has announced Xavier Pascual extension for the 2023/24 season.
Xavier Pascual joined Zenit in 2020 and led the club to the United League Championship in the 2021/22 season. In addition, the St. Petersburg team won the VTB United League SuperCup 2022.
Pascual was recognized as the best coach of the VTB United League 2020/21 season. Zenit won 20 out of 24 games and the VTB League Regular Season. In addition, that season Zenit became the best defensive team in the League, allowing opponents to score an average of 71.6 points per game.
