UNICS announced the signing of 32-year-old Russian center Ivan Lazarev and 33-year-old American guard Marcos Knight. The agreements with the players are until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Knight started the season in Samara and played 31 games averaging 16.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals.
Lazarev also moved to UNICS from Samara, where he played 22 games with average of 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds. In the previous season, the center played for the Kazan team and became the United League bronze medalist.
