Members of Executive Committee and Control & Revision Commission of RBF have been elected in vote conferention of Russian basketball federation. United League general director Ilona Korstin was re-elected as member of Executive Committee.
Other members of the Committee are Andrey Kirilenko, Svetlana Abrosimova, Anna Arkhipova-von Kalmanovich, Sergey Boguslavskiy, Sergey Bykov, Andrey Vatutin, Andrey Vedischev, Andrey Volkov, Natalia Galkina, Vladimir Dyachok, Evgeny Ivanov, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Evgeny Kurilov, Aleksandr Novozhilov, Maxim Ryabkov, Viktor Semenov, Aleksandr Sysoev, Oleg Khramkin and Viktor Khryapa.
RBF president was also elected during the conference. Andrey Kirilenko retained the position which he’s been holding since 2015.
The Executive Committee is a constant governing body of RBF which performs its activity according to RBF Bylaws. The Committee’s goals include important functions such as evaluation and approval of naitonal teams coaches, setting the criteria to invite athletes to Russian national teams.
Furthermore, the Committee evaluates performance of Russian national teams and clubs’ contribution, approves calendar plan for Russian and international events.
