Lokomotiv-Kuban annoucned signing of American forward Greg Whittington (28 y.o., 208 cm).
Greg Whittington started his professional career in 2015 in Miami Heat’s D-League club, Sioux Falls Skyforce, with which he became league champion. The forward then had a six-month stint with the Australian Sydney Kings before returning to the D-League. Over the next 3 years, Whittington played in the Japanese, Israeli and Turkish championships. In the 2020/21 season, Greg made his NBA debut for Denver.
Playing for Hapoel Gilboa in the 2018/19 season, Greg Whittington was the best rebounder in Israel (9.6 average per game). The forward also participated in the Israeli League All-Star Game.
