The rights to the Russian championship belong to the VTB United League, thanks to an agreement with the Russian Basketball Federation (RBF).
For the 15th consecutive time and 24th time in club history, CSKA Moscow wins the Russian championship. 2nd place went to Khimki Moscow Region. Rounding out the top three is Zenit St. Petersburg, which earns bronze for the 2nd time in club history. Zenit edged out fellow semifinalist Lokomotiv-Kuban for 3rd place thanks to a superior regular-season record.
