Quotes
Enisey head coach Oleg Okulov:
– We were nervous before the game because sooner or later Parma is going to beat someone. I’m sure of that. We really didn’t want it to be us. Plus, we remember the game in Parma and it’s possible the team was a little too fired up today.
Our opponent played in a rhythm from the start and it took us a long time to pull away.
We also gave up more than 20 points to Andjusic. At halftime, we talked, then we did what we were supposed to on defense in the 3rd quarter and the offense also got going. We’ve also got things to work on as the 4th quarter demonstrated.
Parma head coach Viacheslav Shushakov:
– We told the guys to play as physical as possible and not give up easy points, which we were able to do. The 3rd quarter was the turning point. We couldn’t hit our shots. We missed some good opportunities and our opponent took advantage. That’s when the outcome of the game was decided.
