Kalev Estonia has officially introduced Donaldas Kairys as head coach.
The 40-year-old Lithuanian replaces Alar Varrak, who had coached the team since the 2012-13 season.
Kalev opened the 2017-18 campaign with a 1-6 record and sits 12th in the standings.
Donaldas Kairys has prior experience in the League, coaching Tsmoki-Minsk Belarus during the 2013-14 season.
He’s also been an assistant at Lokomotiv-Kuban (2011-12) and worked as a scout for CSKA and Khimki. His most recent stint was in Poland as head coach of Energa Czarni.
