Zenit has terminated contracts of head coach Dejan Radonjic and his assistant, Sasha Kosovic, by mutual agreement.
The Montenegrin coach joined Zenit during the 2025/26 season. The team played 31 games and won 20.
With Dejan, the St. Petersburg reached the Final Four of the WINLINE Basket Cup, finished 3rd in the VTB United League regular season, and came within one step of reaching the Finals.
Rostislav Vergun has been appointed acting head coach until the end of the season.
