Playing without Nando De Colo and Kyle Hines, the Army Men started the game on a 12-0 run and never let the home team get comfortable, storming to a 15-point lead at the end of the 1st quarter. Will Clyburn put on a show in the 2nd quarter, scoring 10 points in every way possible. With CSKA on top by 21, Nikita Kurbanov and Daniel Hackett led the way in the 3rd quarter, helping the visitors drill six 3-pointers and put the game out of reach. Moscow would score its 100th point early in the 4th quarter en route to a big win.
