CSKA started the season with five consecutive wins and got the first palce in the standings. Enisey won the first game on Monday against MINSK on the road.
The Krasnoyarsk team headed into the game from the first seconds: Orlando Coleman put the guests ahead with made shots. Enisey did not allow CSKA to create bigger difference and even led for a while after James Thompson and Aleksandr Gudumak shots. Only at the end of the first quarter, the Army team made a 14-0 run, while Enisey could not score for 4 minutes. Dallas Moorebuzzer beater let the Moscow team a double-digit lead at the end of the first quarter – 27:16.
Enisey did not give up. The Krasnoyarsk team scored easy points at the start of the second quarter after steals. And with bigmen work in the paint, the guests trailed by 9 points. Casper Ware. The guard was not too noticeable in the first half without scoring a single point in 10 minutes. But after the halftime, Ware scored 3 three-pointers and made CSKA decesive run, after which Enisey could not come back. Casper scored 12 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
Numbers
6 – CSKA continues the winning streak. The Army team remains one of the two teams (with UNICS) that have not yet lost in the 2022/23 season.
