German center Johannes Voigtmann (28 years old, 211 cm) signed a new two-year deal with CSKA.
Voigtmann has been with CSKA since 2019. This season Johannes played 28 games in the United League with an average of 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 21.5 minutes on the floor.
The center was named VTB United League MVP of the month in March 2021.
Also today CSKA announced that Janis Strelnieks will leave the club upon the completion of his contract.
The Latvian guard joined the Army team in 2019 and played a combined 22 games in the United League. In the 2020/21 season, Janis averaged 6.6 points on 48% three-point shooting in 17.5 minutes on the floor.
