In the second half, CSKA increased the force with M’Baye help. In the first minutes of the third quarter, the French bigman scored 11 straight points, the Moscow team turned on tough defense and for the first time got a double-digit lead (60:49). The Army team eventually took control of the game and more than doubled their lead in the third quarter (27:13), creating a 17-point advantage before the final quarter.
Avtodor failed to change anything. CSKA confidently got the 7th straight win, and extended the longest streak in the League.
