Zenit guard Billy Baron has won September-October MVP of 2020/21 VTB United League.

Billy Baron was Zenit’s leader in September and October with an average of 16.3 points (52.4% FG), 4.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals with 17.3 efficiency points.
Baron led his team in season opener against Khimki (79:67) becoming top scorer of the night with 16 points. Plus, the guard added 4 assists and 3 rebounds.
“Thanks for the award! Probably, the first game was the most memorable. It was important for us to win at Khimki,” Baron noted. “We knew based on pre-season games that we had a good team, but we had to stick to the plan and work hard in the fourth quarter. Good season start for us, it helped go forward.”
