BETCITY PARMA wraps up its match against Dynamo with its first “hundred piece”. Game Recap and Highlights

Perm’s BETCITY PARMA defeated Vladivostok’s Dynamo at home, 108–90 (26–23, 24–23, 29–22, 29–22).

Main Story
The home team started the game by demonstrating high offensive efficiency. In the first quarter, they shot 75% from close range and 50% from long range. The visitors were unable to match that level of finishing (63.6% vs. 20%), but still managed to stay close on the scoreboard. Their aggressiveness on the offensive glass helped, earning them 6 offensive rebounds and, as a result, five additional shot attempts.
The flow of the game changed after a short break. The home team stepped up their fight for rebounds and quickly matched their opponents in offensive rebounds, but they were unable to capitalize on this advantage and build a comfortable lead. By midway through the game, both teams had dropped below 45% shooting accuracy, and the score difference remained at 4 points.

The Clutch Moment
At the start of the second half, the teams traded baskets. PARMA responded to a 6-0 run by Dynamo with a 10-0 run of their own and had built a significant lead by the end of that stretch. That momentum allowed the Perm team to control the final 10 minutes and close out the game with a decisive victory.

X-Factor
PARMA’s victory was driven by the efficiency of its shooters. Standouts included B.J. Johnson (4-for-5 from beyond the arc), Brian Fobbs (4-for-6), Tyrell Nelson (2-for-3), and Isaiah Whaley (2-for-4).

Interesting Facts
PARMA scored its first 100 points of the season.
Alexander Shashkov recorded a double-double (10 points, 12 rebounds) in 17.2 minutes and set a personal record for rebounds in the VTB League.
Isaiah Crowley had his highest-scoring game of the season so far—25 points on 12-of-16 shooting.
Shashkov tied the current season record for offensive rebounds (7), which Crowley had previously set.

Press Conference
BETCITY PARMA Head Coach Evgeny Pashutin:

– I’d like to congratulate the guys on their first official home game in the VTB United League and on their victory in front of a sold-out crowd. Today, the guys showed their full potential, especially in the third and fourth quarters.

We saw their energy, dedication, desire, charisma, and character. In the second and third quarters, our defense wasn’t strong or aggressive enough, but then we stepped it up and started playing defense the way we know how—we made it difficult for our opponents to get open shots and improved our rebounding, which allowed us to capitalize on fast breaks from defense to offense. Now the main thing is to recover and be ready for the next game.

Dynamo Head Coach Sergey Kozin:
– Congratulations to our opponents on their victory. Today, they looked better than we did. We probably lacked a bit of freshness and rotation. BETCITY PARMA shot well today; we had open shots, but unfortunately, we didn’t make them all. If we’d been able to convert two or three of those at key moments in the third quarter, we could have stayed in the game and kept our opponents on their toes down the stretch. Basketball is a simple game—if you miss, you can’t win. Our opponent managed to make some tough shots and pull away, build a comfortable lead, and close out the game with a win. We’ll take this as a learning experience; we have three days until our next game, so I hope we’ll have time to recover and prepare.
