Avtodor has announced the signing of Greg Whittington and Christian Jones. The agreements with forwards are until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Greg Whittington spent the 2021/22 season in Lokomotiv Kuban. He played 8 games for the Krasnodar team in the VTB League averaging 5.1 points and 4.8 rebounds. Earlier in his career, the 29-year-old forward played in the NBA and G League as well as in Australia, Japan, Israel and Turkey.
Christian Jones started his career in 2017 in Germany. Later he played in Ukraine, Hungary and Bulgaria. The 29-year-old forward finished the 2021/22 season in Botevgrad where he became the national champion and MVP of the League averaging 13.2 points and 7.6 rebounds. Jones played in Botevgrad with new Avtodor head coach Nebojsa Vidic.
