VTB United League club Astana has successfully defended its Kazakhstan championship.
Led by head coach Emil Rajkovikj, Astana swept rival Barsy Atyrau 3-0 In the final series (95:89, 94:80, 88:65), winning its 9th league title.
Astana’s Jeremiah Hill named MVP, Ojars Silins received first team honors in the Kazakhstan league, Emil Rajkovikj named Coach of the Year.
