Andrey Vorontsevich and Artem Komolov move from Nizhny Novgorod to UNICS

UNICS Kazan announced the signing of forward Andrey Vorontsevich and guard Artem Komolov. The agreements are on a 1+1 basis.

Andrey Vorontsevich played in the United League for CSKA from 2009-2020. Last season the forward moved to Nizhny Novgorod and played 11 games in the VTB League, averaging 10.5 points and 5.7 rebounds.

Artem Komolov has played for Nizhny Novgorod since 2017. The 2020/21 season was the most successful of the guard’s career in the United League: he participated in 25 games and averaged 11.6 points per game on 45% three-point shooting. Komolov also won the three-point contest at the 2021 All-Star Game in Moscow.
