Zenit announced the signing of center Andrei Martiuk. The agreement is for 3 years.
Andrei‘s debut in the VTB League came in the 2020/21 season – he had spent 5 seasons in Lokomotiv Kuban.
He participated in the All-Star Game twice, was recognized as the VTB League Best Young Player of the 2022 and 2023, and together with the team achieved silver in the 2022/23 season and the SuperCup 2023.
Last season, Martiuk played 50 games, 47 times were in starting five. Average stats: 8.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16 minutes on average.
