The Sport Business Awards were announced today at Moscow’s VTB Arena.
The awards ceremony was held on the VTB Arena ice rink as part of the Arena Forum 4.0 international conference on construction and management of sports facilities.
The deputy director of Moscow’s Committee for Architecture and Construction architecture board Sergey Globukin, European and World Championships medalist in figure skating Anna Pogorilaya, Olympic champion in figure skating Dmitry Solovyev and World Championships medalist in curling Anna Sidorova presented the awards.
The VTB United League’s All-Star Game won the award for Event of the Year.

- Event of the year: VTB United League All-Star Game
- Architecture firm of the year: PI Arena
- Construction organization of the year: Codest
- Planning firm of the year: Metropolis
- Developer of the year: TEN
- Manager of the year: Ilya Gerkus
- Innovation of the year: SIS RUS (Luzhniki Arena’s Pirog design on the football pitch)
- Sponsor tie-in of the year: #бороданадежды (#beardofhope) by Avangard and Braun
The winners were selected by an independent expert jury. First, finalists for the Sport Business Awards were selected by a general vote. Each received the opportunity to present their projects, after which the experts made a final decision. The results of the vote remained secret until the awards ceremony.
All of the winners received unique hand-made gold SBA globes.
