Lokomotiv Kuban announced the new head coach, a 44-year-old Slovenian Alexander Sekulic.
Alexander Sekulic started his coaching career in 1996 and for 26 years of practice worked in Slovenia and the Czech Republic. In 2012, he became the Slovenian champion together with KRKA, and at the end of the 2021/22 season he led Nimburk to the win in the Czech Championship.
In addition, Alexander Sekulic is the head coach of the Slovenian national team, which reached the semifinals at the 2020 Olympics. Together with the Slovenian national team, as an assistant coach, he became European champion in 2017
