The VTB League announces the All-Star Game Wild Card players.
Intivation was recieved by 3 backcourt players Jeremiah Hill (Runa), Dmitry Kulagin (UNICS) and Mikhail Kulagin (Samara), as well as 3 frontcout players – Rayshawn Hammonds (Avtodor), Andrey Vorontsevich (Pari NN) and Andrey Lopatin (MBA).
Earlier, fans, media and VTB League teams head coaches made their choice.
On February 4, the All-Star team head coaches will participate in the All-Star Game 2024 Draft Live. Emil Rajkovic and Velimir Perasovic will select the pool players (24 players) formed by fans, media, head coaches and the League.

– This season we have changed the All-Star Game voting format. There were 4 stages. First, the fans voted for the players, then the media made their choice, followed by all the League coaches. At the end, the League makes choice by adding 6 more players.
All 6 are the leaders of their teams, who are having an outstanding season. Andrey Vorontsevich, brothers Dmitry and Mikhail Kulagin and Andrey Lopatin are strong Russian players, recognisable and loved by the fans. In addition, they all have All-Star Game experience. Vorontsevich have been the MVP back at the first All-Star Game in Sochi in 2017.
Jeramiah Hill and Rayshawn Hammonds will be participating in the All-Star Game for the first time (Hill has only participated in the Three-Point Contestin 2021). They have been playing brightly and this season. That’s the kind of play we expect from them at the All-Star Game.
In the beginning, the All-Star Game had a constant format of Russia Stars vs The World Stars, last year we divided the teams into New School and Old School. This season we will have a Draft, where the players will be selected for their teams by head coaches Emil Rajkovic and Velemir Perasovic, and the teams will be named after them.
