Lokomotiv Kuban has signed center Vince Hunter. The deal is 1+1.
Hunter made his debut in the VTB League in the 2016/17 season for Avtodor. He spent 1 year in the Saratov club. He returned to Russia in the 2022/23 season and joined UNICS.
From 2023 to 2025, he played for Zenit. In the 2024/25 season, he played 58 games, in 56 appeared in starting five. Averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks per game.
Hunter is the VTB United League 2023 champion, participant of the All–Star Game and the Defensive Player of the Year in 2024. Last season, he set an all-time high in blocks in a single quarter (6), secured 9th place in dunks, 8th place in rebounds and 6th in blocks on average per game.
