The Lithuanian coach Rimas Kurtinaitis started his career in the VTB League in VEF. During 2010/11 season the head coach moved from VEF to Khimki and led the team to the title. Moreover, Kurtinaitis is coach of the year (2014), VTB United League 2-time silver medalist (2015, 2019) and All-Star Game participant as World Stars head coach (2020). At the moment Rimas Kurtinaitis is top-3 most victorious coaches in League’s history (138 wins).
