Game progress
The game started badly for the Saratov team. Aleksandr Petenev was injured in the first minutes, and Uralmash made a 12-2 run, forcing Milenko Bogicevic to take an early timeout. The pause helped the guests to reboot. Avtodor came closer, but couldn’t get the lead and had an 8-point deficit.

By the middle of the second  quarter, the Saratov team tied the score (30:30), but immediately lost concentration again, missing another 11-0 run. By halftime, Avtodor was already 14 points behind. The key problem was the difference in long-range shooting. The opponents made 10 three-point attempts, but the guests scored only once.

In the third quarter, the Saratov team still had problems with a critical difference in free throw attempts (7-22). The guests stayed in the game with aggressive rebounding. But efforts only allowed to hold a 14-point deficit, with hopes to safe the game in last quarter.

The game went into clutch. The hosts had a chance to win in the last possession, but Kirill Pisklov missed three-pointer and Jamal Jones was fouled. The game ended with a 2-point win by the guests, which secured the 6th place.
