The hosts made a quick 11:0 run and secured a double-digit lead in the opening minutes of the game. Garrett Nevels had great start. Ilya Platonov replied with 2 three-pointers. PARMA pressed all over the court, triggering 6  turnovers. Samson Ruzhentsev took advantage of it and his 9 points helped the hosts to end the quarter with a huge lead (35:17).

The second quarter was less productive, but still went was controlled by the Perm team. The guests managed to get the game back on track, but didn’t get rid of turnovers (13 in the half) and lost in shooting accuracy. Nevels scored 20 points before halftime, PARMA led by 26.

Samara couldn’t change the game in the second half. The team didn’t solve the problem with scoring, making only 40% toward the end of the game, and the Perm te aggressive defense continued to lead to steals.
