From the very first minutes, the hosts took the initiative. Aggressive defense and DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell allowed the Kazan team to take an easy lead. After Andrey Lopatin three-pointer the lead was increased to 13 points midway through the opening quarter – 16:3.

The guests were able to shake up the offense with substitutions, but this had only a short-term effect. UNICS looked clearly stronger than the opponent. The second quarter started with a 9-point run by the Kazan team, after which the lead became 20+ points – 40:17. The guests tried to put up a fight, but UNICS kept a comfortable lead. Velimir Perasovic team had a 23-point lead by halftime – 60:37.

Key moment
