Samara defeated Astana at home – 84:63 (31:16, 10:25, 25:12, 18:10).

The game was equal until the middle of the first quarter, and then the Volga team made a 10:0 run in 2 minutes. James Thompson scored 6 points in the paint, and the hosts finished the opening quarter with a double-digit lead – 31:16.
