Astana announced the extension with 25-year-old guard Markell Johnson.
Markell has been playing for Astana since November 2022. Last season he averaged 16.5 points, 7.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals.
Johnson is the 2023/24 season leader in steals, 2nd in assists and 4th in efficiency.
