Game progress
The Perm team started the game with a 9:2 spurt and forced the hosts to take a timeout 3:30 after game beginning. After the timeout, MINSK focused on three-pointers – 4 long range shots (Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson made 3) helped the hots to take the lead – 16:13. PARMA focused on defense and began to regain the lead. Isaiah Reese and B.J. Johnson scored points and created chances for their teammates. The American duo scored 16 points and helped the guests to have a double-digit lead by the halftime – 42:29.
At the beginning of the second half, Richard Solomon scored 10 points in the quarter and brought his team’s lead to 22 points by the end of the third quarter – 61:39. Ogungbemi-Jackson continued to find open shots and Aleksander Zecevic was able to score several times in the paint. But the hosts didn’t have enough energy for a comeback. The guests offense worked smoothly in the fourth quarter – Johnson created fastbreaks, Reese made assists, and C.J. Bryce scored mid-range and long-range shots. Evgeny Pashutin gave the bench players a chance to prove at the end of the game, as all 12 players got playing time.
PARMA confidently got the fifth win in a row and guaranteed the Top 6 place.
