Sergey Kushchenko, President of the VTB United League, participated in the presentation of the ACB’s 20th anniversary season, which took place yesterday in Moscow.
As part of the event, a charity match titled “Energy of Friendship” was held, in which Kushchenko played.
The presentation featured the creative concept for the 2026–27 season and the updated structure of the championship, as well as celebratory events and creative projects dedicated to the ASB’s 20th anniversary.
The ACB was founded in May 2007 and is currently the largest student sports league in Eurasia, uniting more than 8,000 players and 700 teams across Russia.
The Association of Student Basketball is a long-standing partner of the United League. Sergey Borisovich Ivanov was one of the founders of the ASB and has been involved in its development for 20 years. Today, the United League and the ASB are part of a unified ecosystem that brings together players, coaches, experts, and basketball fans.
