Pari Nizhniy Novgorod has announced the suspension of the first team’s activities. Starting from the 2026/27 season, the Nizhny Novgorod club will not compete in the VTB United League.
The decision was made due to the current financial situation, which makes it temporarily impossible to maintain the first team at a professional level.
The club will continue to operate: Pari NN youth team will remain in the VTB United Youth League, and the club’s development structure, staff and infrastructure will be preserved.
In the near future, the club will focus on youth basketball development, player preparation and maintaining a basketball system in the region.
Pari Nizhniy Novgorod thanked the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the regional governor, partners and fans for their long-term support and dedication to the club.
