The hosts took the lead early in the game. Pari NN maintained this lead for almost the entire first half. During the second quarter, Nizhny Novgorod tried to pull away with excellent defense and fast breaks. Twice, the lead reached 8 points. However, Pari NN was unable to increase it. The hosts had 6-point lead by halftime – 36:30.

The guests took the initiative in the third quarter. This was largely due to Tyrrell Nelson and Octavius Ellis actions in the paint. They drew fouls and ultimately turned a 6-point deficit into a 5-point lead – 54:49.
