The VTB United League Directorate reviewed the official protest filed by BC Zenit against the result of the game against PBC Lokomotiv Kuban, which was on November 9, 2025, in Krasnodar.
In its appeal, the St. Petersburg club pointed to a stoppage of the game clock and shot clock with 1:06 remaining in the third quarter, which, in the club’s opinion, could have affected the result of the game.
After reviewing the case materials and guided by the Regulations of the VTB United League Championship for the 2025/26 season, as well as the FIBA Official Basketball Rules, including section “C – Protest Procedure”, the Directorate decided to deny BC Zenit’s protest.
Thus, the result of the game between Lokomotiv Kuban and Zenit on November 9, 2025, remains unchanged.
In turn, PBC Lokomotiv Kuban was fined by the League Directorate for the poor performance of the referees and secretaries, and the commissioner and referees of the game were given a warning.
