UNICS defeated Uralmash at home – 76:70 (23:11, 20:20, 11:22, 22:17).

The Kazan team took control of the game from the first quarter. UNICS made a 7:0 run and the starting quarter ended in its favor (23:11). The second quarter had more emotion than basketball, with the opponents even getting into conflict, in which Marcus Bingham (UNICS) and Tyrell Nelson (Uralmash) were most actively involved, and the hosts forward Andrey Lopatin received a disqualifying foul.

Key moment
After the halftime, the Yekaterinburg team rushed into pursuit, and by the final quarter, UNICS’s lead had been reduced to 1 point. Javonte Douglas put Uralmash ahead for the first time, but UNICS immediately regained the lead with a 7-0 run. The guests came close several more times, but were unable to achieve more.

X-factor
With the equal stats, Uralmash made more mistakes at key moments. The guests committed 14 turnovers in this game (compared to 7 by UNICS), which largely prevented Uralmash from clinching the road win.

Facts 
UNICS started the season with three wins for the first time since 2023, when Kazan team also beat Uralmash at home in the third game. UNICS also improved its perfect record in head-to-head games with Uralmash, now 7-0.

Jalen Reynolds scored 15 points off the bench and became the first international player in the history of the VTB United League (and the ninth player overall) to reach the 2,500 points in his VTB League career. It took 175 games to achieve this.
