Zenit announced the signing of Slovenian coach Aleksander Sekulic. The agreement is till end of 2025/26 season with the possibility of extension.
Sekulic is the current head coach of the Slovenian national team. He is already familiar to fans of the VTB League from his work with Lokomotiv Kuban – the specialist headed the club from Krasnodar from 2022 to 2024.
Loko and Sekulic reached the Finals in the 2022/23 season, beating CSKA in Semifinals and took 2nd place.
