VTB United League President Sergey Kushchenko and General Director Ilona Korstin participated in Roscongress basketball Cup.
The SPIEF 2025 tournament ended in St. Petersburg yesterday. SPIEF team beat the National Team of two capitals – 79:76.
The winning team included Ilona Korstin, who also was captain, Sergey Kushchenko, Sergey Bykov, Egor Vialtsev, Gosha Kutsenko and others. The team was led by a member of the FIBA Hall of Fame, Evgeny Gomelsky. Their rivals in the “National Team of the two capitals“ were RBF President Andrey Kirilenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zenit Sports Club Alexander Medvedev, and two-time Olympic basketball champion Tatiana Ovechkina as the team‘s coach. Ilona Korstin became the best scoring player in SPIEF team (20 points).
