Xavier Pascual is leaving Zenit upon the expiration of his contract.
Over more than five years with Zenit, the Spanish specialist led the team in 308 games, achieving 215 wins. He holds the club’s record for the most games as head coach.
Together with Xavier, Zenit claimed: the VTB United League title, the Russian Cup, 2 VTB SuperCups, and 4 Kondrashin and Belov Cups.
