Jeremiah Martin allowed the hosts to take the lead from the start. Not even three minutes into the game, Uralmash had a double-digit lead – 13:2. The Siberian team got back into the game with rotation. The bench players added reliability in defense, and the Krasnoyarsk team gradually began to get closer to the opponent. At the end of the first quarter, Enisey cut the deficit to a minimum – 23:24.
At the start of the second quarter, Martin got involved again. His allowed to regain a solid lead. The Siberian team tried to make a comeback, but all attempts were denied by Uralmash aggressive defense and Martin and Javonte Douglas in offense (28 points combined). As a result, the Yekaterinburg team had a comfortable 14-point lead by halftime – 54:40.
The guests were able to equalize. But it was not enough to change the game. Throughout the second half, Uralmash kept a double-digit score difference and did not let the Siberian team to make a comeback.
